We have worked to adapt current best practices and treatment models into our programming. SLP's at MMCC provide a balanced service delivery of direct work with students (14-16 hours a week) and consultation to educational staff, training and PD engagement opportunities. We believe that well trained classroom staff best support our students' comprehensive needs when partnering with our clinicians, and our SLP's now have time to provide the critical training and consultation necessary to maximize student growth!
At The Margaret Murphy Center for Children, the Speech-Language Pathologist provides assessment, prevention, and remediation services for students who exhibit delays in the areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency. These services are designed to help children meet their educational goals. Candidates must have the ability to develop and implement educational programs, while working with experienced staff and as part of a team.
Good verbal and written communication skills are important. The qualified candidate must apply leadership, advocacy, and collaboration skills. This individual must be able to provide and receive constructive feedback, while working in the setting of a special purpose private school.
Education:
Master's Degree in Communications

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $75,000–$90,000 annually , depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other job-related factors. Eligible employees are also offered a comprehensive benefits package.
