Swim Instructor; Lifeguard

Camp Micah is a coed overnight camp located in Bridgton, Maine for kids ages 8-15. We are looking for Swim Instructors for this upcoming summer. This is a great job for a young adult who enjoys working with kids and wants to have a life changing experience.

Responsibilities as a Swim Instructor:

• Lead swim lessons for campers ages 7-15 (all of our lessons are conducted in an outdoor, heated pool)
• Follow American Red Cross curriculum for classes
• Assist with lifeguarding duties during free swim
• Assist in maintaining proper care of equipment and pool area
• Live in a cabin with a group of 8 campers
• Identify camper needs and help to create actions plans when issues arise
• Being an appropriate role model for campers, ensuring their physical and emotional safety
