CDS Mail Carrier

Job Summary

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 20 states, is seeking applicants to deliver mail part‑time on a CDS mail route solicited and posted by USPS in the Orono, ME area.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid Maine driver’s license.
• Able to lift 70 lbs.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Must reside in the Orono, ME area.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and meet USPS background standards.

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 253 active boxes.
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail along an assigned 19‑mile line of travel.
• Dismounting to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties as required.

Employment begins: ASAP.

Work schedule:

Generally three days per week (Monday through Saturday work week).

Hours:

Day shift from 7:30 am to 12:45 pm. End times may vary until the mail and parcels are all delivered.
Pay: $25.25 per hour (straight time, health & welfare, holiday paid out; benefits provided as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act). Rate of pay and cash‑equivalent benefits exceed Department of Labor requirements.
