Serving Maine’s Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members. MSAD 75 is seeking a Transportation Specialist to join our vibrant educational community.

Pay Rate: $25.83 - $26.61 per hour

• Transport all passengers, including special education students, on scheduled routes and special excursions, ensuring efficient, safe transit and proper loading and unloading from the bus.
• Obey all traffic laws and observe mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
• Maintain discipline on the school bus at all times by following MSAD 75 policies and procedures, including student discipline procedures, field‑trip guidelines, and daily reporting requirements.
• Perform daily bus checks as required.
• Implement bus routes and field trips in accordance with assigned schedules.
• Notify appropriate authorities in cases of mechanical failures, delays, or accidents.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
• Valid State of Maine School Bus License (CLD license with Passenger & School Bus Endorsement).
• A clean driving record with the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Ability to read and correctly interpret route sheets.
• Familiarity with district streets and roads (a plus).
• Physical ability to meet primary responsibilities.
• Ability to work well within a team.
