Delivery Specialist

Position Overview

Delivery Specialist who maintains and operates store vehicles to deliver parts and or products to professional customers in a safe, efficient manner, collects money on C.O.D. deliveries and picks up customer returns. Bilingual candidates encouraged.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of each business day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, such as customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, and preparing stock orders.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

• Must have a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Driving record that meets the company’s 14/18‑point record system.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Familiarity with automotive parts (desired).
• Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly desired (desired).

Pay Range: $14.65 – $19.00 per hour, equal to or exceeding the required minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
