Compensation
Pay Range: $15.10 - $19.50 per hour (exceeds minimum wage for applicable location). Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly, or performance premiums, possibly based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply when criteria are met.
Responsibilities- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently.
- Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained, and secure; complete daily inspections prior to operating.
- Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times.
- Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips.
- Communicate any customer problems or special needs to store management.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
- Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of business day.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Assist with customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, checking in and putting up stock orders, and other duties as assigned.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point system.
- Legally required state driver’s license and meeting company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
- Familiarity with automotive parts (desired).
- Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired).
- Fluency in multiple languages;
Spanish highly desired.
