CDL Driver Class A; Hazmat

Overview

Clean Harbors in Hampden, ME is seeking a Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat) to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. This role performs driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites in support of hazardous waste clean-up.

• Operate a range of trucks and equipment in hazardous waste cleanup projects at customer sites.
• Drive vehicles in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Perform non-driving duties as required (loading/unloading, pre-trip inspections, equipment setup, site safety coordination).
• Participate in on-site hazardous waste cleanup activities following safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure safe operation of equipment.

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Proven experience operating heavy and light duty trucks and associated equipment (vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, roll-offs).
• Ability to perform on-site hazardous waste cleanup tasks and adhere to safety policies and environmental regulations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work at customer sites and travel as required.
