CDL Class A Truck Driver

Maine Recycling Corporation (MRC) is seeking a skilled and reliable Class A CDL Drop & Hook Truck Driver with a clean driving record to join our team. This role ensures the safe and timely transportation of trailers between designated locations, dropping off full trailers and hooking up to empty or loaded ones as directed. When not performing Drop & Hook Truck Driver tasks, the individual will also serve as MRC's Yard Truck Operator.

Dump trailer and front‑end loader experience is highly desirable. The work week is Monday through Friday, with no weekend or overnight duties required.

• Strong understanding of safe driving practices.
• Team player who follows MRC policies and procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to change in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate information effectively.

• Transport trailers between designated locations, dropping off full trailers and hooking up to empty or loaded ones as directed.
• Conduct routine vehicle and pre‑trip inspections.
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Communicate regularly with MRC's Driver Manager regarding schedules and load status.

• Move trucks and trailers in and out of docks for loading and unloading.
• Coordinate with production supervision to move trailers between locations according to dock assignments.
• Move trailers from dock to dock as needed to complete the unloading process, including dropping and hooking trailers.
• Ensure that trailer wheels are blocked to prevent movement.
• Move trailers for receiving when needed.
• Ensure trailer doors are closed while not in the dock.

Maine Recycling currently acts as a pickup and processing agent for some of the largest beverage manufacturers in Northern New England. Our fleet of 30 trucks with over 200 trailers enables us to provide statewide pickup services for both new and existing beverage distributors in Maine. MRC employs 80 to 100 employees operating from our Lisbon Falls location and has recently expanded with a Redemption Center in Topsham, ME.
