Job OverviewTemporary warehouse positions at our distribution center in Freeport, Maine’s holiday peak season, potentially continuing through February 2027. Positions are available on the 1st and 2nd shifts and start in summer or fall.
Pay & Hours- Pay range: $18.00‒$25.00 per hour, depending on position, shift, and re‑hire experience.
- 1st Shift: 6:30am‒3:30pm (Sunday–Friday, possible Saturday pick‑up); 2nd Shift: 4:00pm‒1:00am (Sunday–Thursday, possible Friday).
- Minimum availability: at least 18hours per week (three 6‑hour days). Maximum availability: up to 40+hours per week based on business need.
- Packing
:
Scan items, verify orders, generate outbound shipping documents, and pack orders. Requires standing the entire shift, basic math, English literacy, computer proficiency, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. - Picking
:
Use a hand‑held scanner and mobile task device, collect selected units into totes, and transfer to conveyor belts. Requires walking 6–8mi per shift, using step ladders, basic math, English literacy, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and multitasking. - Pack Monogramming
:
Operate a computerized monogramming machine to personalize items for customers, with optional training for packing seasonal items. Requires math, measuring, English literacy, computer proficiency, constant re‑threading, safety glasses, standing for the shift, and lifting 20–30lb totes. - Material Handler
:
Safely transfer and lift cases up to 50lb, stack pallets, replenish supplies, monitor conveyors, troubleshoot jams, and use pallet jacks and U‑boats. Requires standing or walking ~9mi, lifting 50lb, using ladders and stairs, English literacy, basic math, and computer proficiency. - Returns Processing
:
Read handwritten or printed return instructions, navigate multiple computer systems, and process items back to inventory with independent decision making. Requires standing/walking, lifting 10–20lb, strong attention to detail, English literacy, computer proficiency, and math skills. - Stocking
:
Transfer, cut, stack cases, operate a vacuum assist device, and manage U‑boats. Requires standing/walking ~9mi, lifting 50lb overhead, using a knife, English literacy, math, and computer proficiency. - Machine Operator
:
Operate an Order Picker machine, put away, pull, stock, retrieve orders, and transfer totes to conveyor belts. Requires standing for the shift, operating at heights up to 6’4”, using a harness, lifting 50lb, computer and machine proficiency, and strong attention to detail.
All positions involve extended standing or walking, lifting or pushing, use of ladders or equipment, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
