We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations at our Hampden, Maine location. This position oversees a team of approximately 40 employees and is responsible for maintaining an efficient, organized, safe, and productive warehouse operation.
The typical schedule is 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
, with some flexibility based on operational needs.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, replenishment, picking, and order fulfillment.
- Provide leadership and direction to approximately 40 warehouse employees.
- Coordinate daily workloads, staffing needs, and operational priorities.
- Monitor productivity and employee performance while providing coaching, feedback, and support.
- Work effectively with employees, vendors, and management to keep operations running smoothly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve workflow, process, inventory, and system-related issues.
- Maintain knowledge of warehouse equipment, conveyors, inventory systems, and order-processing procedures.
- Ensure customer orders are picked, processed, and prepared accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety procedures and immediately address unsafe practices.
- Ensure employees follow established company policies and operating procedures.
- Step in and provide hands‑on assistance to the warehouse team when necessary.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, productivity, and a strong work ethic.
- Respond effectively to changing priorities and daily operational demands.
- 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or related operations experience preferred.
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment.
- Experience leading larger teams in a fast‑paced setting.
- Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with employees and vendors.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

- Relevant management experience from other industries will also be considered.
