Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations at our Hampden, Maine location. This position oversees a team of approximately 40 employees and is responsible for maintaining an efficient, organized, safe, and productive warehouse operation.

The typical schedule is 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
, with some flexibility based on operational needs.

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, replenishment, picking, and order fulfillment.
• Provide leadership and direction to approximately 40 warehouse employees.
• Coordinate daily workloads, staffing needs, and operational priorities.
• Monitor productivity and employee performance while providing coaching, feedback, and support.
• Work effectively with employees, vendors, and management to keep operations running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve workflow, process, inventory, and system-related issues.
• Maintain knowledge of warehouse equipment, conveyors, inventory systems, and order-processing procedures.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, processed, and prepared accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety procedures and immediately address unsafe practices.
• Ensure employees follow established company policies and operating procedures.
• Step in and provide hands‑on assistance to the warehouse team when necessary.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, productivity, and a strong work ethic.
• Respond effectively to changing priorities and daily operational demands.

• 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or related operations experience preferred.
• Previous management or supervisory experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment.
• Experience leading larger teams in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with employees and vendors.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
