Seasonal Operations Associate I – Day Shift

Johnny's is currently seeking a Seasonal Operations Associates I for our Weekday Shift. This position will primarily be worked in the Seed Packing department but may be required to cross-train in the Shipping/Warehouse department when business needs arise. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills.

This is a seasonal business, so hours may change during peak times. The usual hours for the Weekday Shift are Monday through Friday, from 5:50 am to 2:20 pm. During the busiest period, overtime will be required.

Starting pay for the Weekday Shift is $17.51 per hour.

This position is Seasonal and will end based on a season-end date or an agreed-upon end date. All seasonal employees who qualify will be eligible for an "End of Season Bonus" for up to $750.00!

Seed Packing functions may include:

You will pack seed in commercial and consumer quantities using available manual and mechanical equipment. This role requires comfort working at a stationary workstation, performing repetitive tasks, and following established processes and detailed instructions. Basic computer skills and familiarity with converting ounces and pounds to grams are required. Additional responsibilities may include assembling kits and products and processing commercial bulk seed orders weighing 50–70 pounds.

Shipping, Warehouse and Inventory functions may include:

You will cross-train to perform a variety of Shipping, Warehouse, and Inventory functions. Responsibilities may include locating incoming materials in designated stockrooms; using inventory systems to find, move, and organize materials; and shrink-wrapping and labeling products. You may also assist with receiving activities, including sampling and labeling, and support cycle-counting activities by locating and weighing inventory. Additional duties include reporting problems or shortages to your supervisor or lead;

supporting daily order fulfillment by gathering, verifying, packing, shipping, and stocking materials; using handheld devices to accurately pick and track inventory; preparing inventory for shipment; and performing other duties as needed.
