Project Manager​/Senior Electrical Engineer, Hospitality

Your Challenge

EXP is currently searching for a Project Manager/Senior Electrical Engineer for our Hospitality & Gaming group for our Maitland, Florida location.

Your Responsibilities

* Identify, research, and qualify RFP/ RFQ's and upcoming projects for go/no go potential

* Direct and lead submittals in response to RFP/ RFQ's.

* Manage existing and develop new client relationships

* Perform at a 'responsible charge' level; meeting exp's design and quality levels

* Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours

* Work with project team and clients to meet scheduled project milestones on multiple projects

* Apply risk management procedures daily to minimize exp's and client's exposure to problems

* Understand MEP/FP work planning and manage design process to the available hours in work plan

* Understand proper scope of MEP/FP SD, DD, CD level documents - and deliver appropriate documentation

* Coordinates with other disciplines (MEP/FP, architectural, structural, etc)

* Edit and develop scope of work narratives (SD narrative, basis of design, etc)

* Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases

* Thorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codes

* Advanced equipment selection and analysis (generators, UPS units, chillers, boilers)

* Be able to direct and mentor designer level staff on all of their responsibilities on a daily basis

* QA/QC reviews of all calculations by designers, and provide guidance and mentoring

The Skills and Knowledge You Bring

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program

* 10+ years Electrical design experience

* Registered Professional Engineer in State of Florida required.

* 7+ years of hospitality facility design

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
