Legal Assistant - Property & Casualty Litigation

Location: Onsite - Orlando, FL

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with 3+ years of experience in property and casualty litigation to join a fast-paced legal team in Orlando, FL. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting attorneys handling homeowner insurance claims and personal injury cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, scheduling, and document management
• Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents
• Organize and maintain case files and legal databases
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Ensure timely and accurate filings and deadline management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property and casualty litigation support
• Strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
