We're building a faceless animated You Tube channel in the style of Over Simplified, covering stories about money, power, and corporate scandal throughout history. Most of our character/background assets are handled with AI. What we need is someone who can take those assets and actually bring them to life through simple puppet-style animation.

Here's an example of the animation style we're going for:

Rig AI-generated characters and assets for simple puppet-style animation (limbs, mouth movement, basic gestures) — similar to Over Simplified channel style movement, not complex character animation

Animate scenes at a simple level, moving pieces around and timing to dialogue, not frame-by-frame heavy animation

Do light illustration touch-ups or fixes on AI-generated assets when needed (small cleanup, consistency fixes, missing details), full illustration from scratch is not the main job

Composite and finish scenes in After Effects or other software you prefer, basic edits like color matching and cleanup so everything sits together in one scene

Someone who needs heavy direction to understand basic pacing and movement once the style's been shown

Someone who isn't comfortable working with AI-generated assets as their starting material

Real experience with simple puppet-style/cutout animation and rigging

Comfortable with After Effects or other animation tools for compositing, cleanup, and basic edits

Good at storyboard creation, concept development, and visual storytelling

Understands storytelling & comedic pacing

Basic English comprehension, enough to understand the script and storyboard notes

Basic illustration skills are a bonus, not required, most character and background assets are already generated with AI
