Business Development Executive (BDE) Makassar and Sulawesi Area

We are looking for a highly driven and proactive Business Development Executive (BDE) based in Makassar to accelerate business growth, strengthen market presence, and drive distribution expansion across the Sulawesi and Papua regions.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing sales performance, monitoring distributor operations, spearheading market development, and ensuring optimal product visibility and equitable availability across eastern Indonesia.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Distributor Management: Closely monitor and manage monthly sales performance (Sell-In and Sell-Out) across assigned distributor networks to hit commercial targets.
Distribution & Regional Expansion: Drive equitable product distribution and identify new market development opportunities across the Sulawesi and Papua regions to maximize penetration.

Team Leadership & Field Execution: Lead, monitor, and support the field sales team to ensure high-standard execution and optimal in-store merchandising/visibility.

Customer & Key Account Relations: Maintain strong partnerships with existing key accounts and distributors while actively acquiring new business opportunities.

Market Intelligence & Reporting: Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities and market trends, while ensuring accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or General Trade/Distribution (experience in FMCG, Pet Food, Consumer Goods, or Retail is strongly preferred).
Core Competencies: Strong, proven understanding of Sell-In, Sell-Out mechanisms, distributor management, and territory development.

Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Mobility: Based in Makassar, willing to travel extensively across assigned territories in Sulawesi and Papua, and holds an active driver's license (SIM A / SIM

C).
