Junior Analyst - Commodities

Job summary:

The position acts in a support role to the Senior Commodities Director for a broad range of tasks required to manage the commodities supply chain. Tasks may include data analysis such as raw material costs using data in Excel, creating reports from existing files and new files as needed, data analysis of commodity prices and purchase position, and assisting in the preparation of forecasts and commodity coverage for Reily and private‑label customers.

Other general administrative tasks are also performed as needed to assist the Senior Director.

• Data management for costs, sales, client volumes, budget

• Education:
  
  College degree or related experience is important to demonstrate general business skills.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of two to five years of business experience involving accounting, analytical, and administrative work, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
  
  Strong Excel and office program experience required; good interpersonal or sales experience important; problem‑solving skills required as well as the ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Knowledge:
  Business experience, especially in commodities or food manufacturing, is a plus.
• Travel:
  Limited travel required.
