Job Summary
We are seeking a resourceful, solutions-oriented Associate Director of Operations to join our team and support a nationwide network of financial advisors. This is not a traditional back‑office role. You will serve as a strategic partner to advisors, combining operational expertise, problem‑solving, and business insight to help them run more efficient, scalable, and successful practices. You will play a critical role in delivering high‑touch service, solving complex challenges, and contributing to initiatives that drive advisor growth and long‑term success.
KeyDeliverables and Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑touch service with a focus on responsiveness, ownership, and follow‑through.
- Serve as a trusted partner in resolving complex operational, service, and compliance issues.
- Ensure all advisor requests are handled with urgency, accuracy, and accountability.
- Manage and support processes across platforms including NetX (Pershing), Wealthscape (Fidelity/NFS), CLIC, and Albridge/Wove.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance service delivery and scalability.
- Support advisors through complex business needs, including escalations and cross‑functional coordination.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive initiatives that enhance service quality, efficiency, and advisor satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong understanding of operational risk and compliance considerations in an independent B/D and RIA environment.
Location:
Malden, MA (hybrid attendance model)
- 5+ years of experience in broker‑dealer and/or RIA operations.
- Strong knowledge of account transfers, cashiering, new account opening/maintenance, cost basis, and fee billing.
- Experience with key industry platforms (e.g., Fidelity/NFS, Pershing, Envestnet or Folio, Morningstar, E‑Money, Albridge/Wove) preferred.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 or 65 required (Series 24 a plus).
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional advisor‑facing service in a high‑volume, service‑oriented environment.
- Strong problem‑solver with the ability to navigate complex, cross‑functional issues.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands without sacrificing quality.
- Strong communication and relationship skills; able to build credibility quickly with advisors and stakeholders.
