We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team full time or part time. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, x-rays, educating patients on oral hygiene practices in our newly renovated state of the art practice.
This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and adherence to HIPAA guidelines. A portion of the position is coverage for maternity leave with the potential for approximately 15 hrs. permanent, to be discussed at interview.
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
- Assess and record patients' medical histories, vital signs, and overall oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the office.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
