Malden Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven, and experienced Varsity Boys Lacrosse Head Coach to lead and develop a competitive program aligned with the school’s Catholic and Lasallian educational values. The Head Coach will be responsible for fostering athletic excellence, character development, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture that supports the holistic growth of student-athletes.

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Varsity Boys Lacrosse program
• Plan, organize, and conduct effective practices, training sessions, and game strategies.
• Develop student-athletes’ technical skills, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
• Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team culture aligned with school values.
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches and collaborate with sub-varsity levels to ensure program continuity.
• Coordinate team schedules, equipment needs, and communication with players, families, and athletic department staff.
• Ensure compliance with MIAA regulations, school policies, and safety standards.
• Support student-athlete academic success and personal development.
• Collaborate with admissions, advancement, and school community events when appropriate to promote the program.
• Commitment to promoting multi-level program growth and collaboration.

• Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lacrosse fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
• Ability to build relationships with student-athletes, families, faculty, and the broader school community.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• CORI and background check required.

• Experience building program culture and long-term development pathways.
• Ability to mentor young athletes both on and off the field.
