Mystic Valley Regional Charter School seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Upper Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instruction while fostering a structured and supportive learning environment that promotes academic growth and character development.

• Establish and maintain an organized, engaging, and productive classroom environment.
• Implement the designated curriculum and instructional programs with fidelity.
• Deliver high‑quality instruction aligned with the Core Knowledge curriculum sequence.
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress on a regular basis.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, instructional records, and student performance data.
• Participate in professional development activities and ongoing training.
• Attend and actively participate in weekly grade‑level team meetings, Teacher Assistance Team (TAT) meetings, and faculty and staff meetings.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when required and implement classroom accommodations and modifications outlined in IEPs and 504 Plans.
• Conduct parent‑teacher conferences and maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress.
• Attend Back‑to‑School Night, Open House events, and other required school functions.
• Fulfill assigned supervisory duties, including morning, lunch/recess, and afternoon responsibilities.
• Support and uphold all school policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Massachusetts teaching license preferred but not required.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and school leadership.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learning needs.
