About the Position

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Rosetta Stone Spanish Facilitator for Grades 1–6.

The Spanish Facilitator will guide students through MVRCS's Rosetta Stone language-learning program while creating a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with elementary and middle school students, is comfortable using technology in the classroom, and is passionate about helping students build confidence in a new language.

Rosetta Stone uses an immersive, technology-based approach that helps students develop skills in listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, grammar, vocabulary, and writing. Students progress from individual words and phrases to complete sentences and conversations while receiving immediate feedback throughout the learning process.

• Effectively implement the designated Spanish curriculum using the Rosetta Stone program.
• Guide and support students as they develop Spanish listening, speaking, reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills.
• Maintain an organized, positive, and structured classroom environment.
• Monitor student participation and progress and provide assistance when needed.
• Establish and enforce appropriate procedures for the use of classroom technology, equipment, supplies, software, and materials.
• Troubleshoot basic technology and equipment issues as needed.
• Maintain the daily classroom schedule and established routines.
• Promote positive student behavior and consistently reinforce school expectations.
• Document student progress and submit required information to the Professional Development Coordinator.
• Participate in all required professional development and training.
• Attend and participate in grade-level team meetings, Teacher Assistance Team (TAT) meetings, and staff meetings.
• Participate in IEP meetings when necessary and implement required accommodations and modifications.
• Complete required progress reports, report cards, and student grades throughout the school year.
• Attend and conduct four parent-teacher conferences each school year—two in the fall and two in the spring.
