Certified Home Health Aide; HHA)

Abernathy Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care for seniors and adults throughout Malden, Melrose, Medford, Everett, Stoneham, and nearby communities.

• $19–$21 per hour
• Bi-weekly pay
• Flexible full-time and part-time schedules
• Assignments close to your preferred work area
• Ongoing support from scheduling and clinical staff
• Family-owned and locally operated agency
• Consistent client assignments whenever possible

As a Home Health Aide, you will:

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Follow individualized care plans
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment

Applicants must have:

• Current Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
• Current TB documentation or chest X-ray
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and professionally
• Authorization to work in the United States

We offer a variety of scheduling options, including:

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Weekend availability
• Short and extended visits
