Abernathy Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care for seniors and adults throughout Malden, Melrose, Medford, Everett, Stoneham, and nearby communities.

Compensation & Benefits- $19–$21 per hour
- Bi-weekly pay
- Flexible full-time and part-time schedules
- Assignments close to your preferred work area
- Ongoing support from scheduling and clinical staff
- Family-owned and locally operated agency
- Consistent client assignments whenever possible
As a Home Health Aide, you will:
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Complete light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Follow individualized care plans
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Applicants must have:
- Current Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
- Current TB documentation or chest X-ray
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Authorization to work in the United States
We offer a variety of scheduling options, including:
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Overnight shifts
- Weekend availability
- Short and extended visits
