Summary
The District Manager directly oversees a specific Towne Park district and is responsible for district performance for financial, guest satisfaction, client satisfaction and business development objectives. The District Manager works closely with the Vice President of Operations/Regional Director (depending on division) to incorporate corporate initiatives and Towne Park cultural perspectives within district operations.
Essential Functions- Maintains knowledge of operational requirements and business reporting procedures, ensuring compliance with Towne Park policies across the district.
- Directs the activities and effectiveness of Account Managers and district support to meet company and client objectives.
- Assigns and trains managers in all aspects of their responsibilities to run contract sites in accordance with contractual, legal, and Towne Park policies.
- Drives business metrics and performance measurements to ensure effectiveness, high performance and compliance within the district.
- Assesses work processes regularly to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Conducts weekly district staff meetings and additional meetings as needed.
- Ensures all Account Managers meet deadlines for forecasting and reporting accurate information to corporate accounting.
- Supports managers in improving the performance of their sites and meeting expectations of both clients and Towne Park.
- Collaborates with the Sales department to identify, pursue, and secure business development opportunities.
- Maintains regular contact with Account Managers to monitor progress toward staffing and scheduling goals.
- Works with the Manager of Talent Operations to analyze labor trends and staffing levels for accurate forecasting.
- Partners with the Talent Team in forming recruitment initiatives and participates in the recruitment and development of management talent.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
- Minimum of seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of general business practices including accounting, human resources, and client relations.
- Ability to effectively plan, set priorities, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and various technology applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to address all levels within the organization.
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in dealing with matters of significance to the company.
- Ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of settings with an appreciation for diverse cultures.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies, procedures, corporate communications, and training materials.
- Ability to compose professional internal and external business communications, including reports, memos, letters, and e‑mails.
Performs duties independently with minimal supervision, operating from specific directions and instructions. Routine decisions are made within prescribed operating guidelines, policies and procedures. Mistakes may result in work stoppage, loss of business, poor customer relations or financial implications.
Job DetailsAnnual base pay range $131,400–$197,100. Employees may be eligible for annual incentive bonuses.
