Position
Description:
Set-up and operate various types of Sheet Metal, Bench, and Deburring Equipment under the direction of the area supervisor.
There is a 20% night shift premium.
- Set up and operate various types of Sheet Metal, Bench and Deburring equipment.
- Follow written work instructions and work to blueprints.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Produce at standard and quality levels in accordance with company’s requirements.
- Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc.
- Maintain area, workbenches, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition.
- Observe all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches
- Must have demonstrated mechanical ability
- Must be able to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
