General Description:
The summer school nurse oversees the health and wellness of students and staff members enrolled in Beebe's MOST (Malden Out-Of School Time), CPPI (Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative), and Extended School Year Summer Programs.
Responsibilities- Provide routine daily care and administration of OTC and prescribed medications
- Provide emergency care to students and staff when needed
- Maintain daily medical log records and report any student incidents to the program coordinators
- Perform other job-related duties
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Familiar with life threatening allergy protocols
- Committed to working in and fostering an inclusive community
- Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies
- Work collaboratively and independently
- Maintain an enthusiastic and positive presence with all students, staff and families
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and risk management skills
Dates: June 29 - July 31 (Monday - Friday)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Salary: $40 per hour

All positions are contingent upon student enrollment for summer programming.
