Overview

F&W Pest Control of MA is looking to hire a full-time, entry-level Home Sales Inspector to join our team. This is a position for those with little-to-no previous experience in the pest control industry, though prior experience is always welcome.

As a Home Services Inspector
, you’ll be responsible for understanding F&W's termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers. By performing 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between, you’ll solve problems and build trusted relationships ensuring homes and families are protected.

• Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided to decide on the best overall pest solution for each customer's needs.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads—our robust advertising budget provides leads.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain F&W’s products and services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home—training provided.
• Make recommendations to customers based on inspection and issues identified, addressing any questions, explaining the process, and setting expectations.
• Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company-provided iPad; training available.

What do you need to be successful?

• No experience required – we’ll train you!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company-paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations.

• Use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), sometimes requiring an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different weather conditions
