The Hybrid Sr. Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and property-level reporting. - - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for assigned real estate properties.
- - Perform account reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger activity.
- - Prepare journal entries, accruals, reclasses, adjusting entries, and supporting schedules for month-end and year-end close.
- - Analyze property-level financial results, research variances, and provide clear explanations to management.
- - Partner with property managers and internal accounting teams to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting processes.
- - Support annual budgets, forecasts, audits, tax-related reporting, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives.
- - Compensation: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour.

- - Manage property-level accounting and financial reporting for an assigned portfolio.
- - Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
- - Partner with property management and accounting teams to resolve financial questions and improve accounting processes.
- - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in property management, real estate, or a related industry.
- - Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial statements, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- - Experience with month-end close, year-end close, accruals, reclasses, and adjusting entries.
- - Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial data analysis.
- - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- - Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- - Yardi experience strongly preferred and considered a major plus.
- - Prior accounting experience within real estate, property management, or a related portfolio-based environment.
- - Experience supporting budgets, forecasts, audits, tax reporting, and internal control improvements.
