The Seaver College Faculty Fellows program seeks to advance Pepperdine University's mission by providing one-year fellowships to individuals pursuing careers in Christian higher education and who are active members in congregations affiliated with the Churches of Christ.

The Churches of Christ are a specific tradition within the Stone-Campbell movement, and affiliation with this movement is a non-negotiable requirement of this particular position. Participants in the Faculty Fellows program will develop as Christian educators by participating in the college's academic life including programming provided by the University's Center for Faith and Learning and the college's Center for Teaching Excellence. Fellows will also participate in the college's new faculty orientation, retreat, and mentoring. Fellows will teach two courses each semester and one summer-session course in an academic area of the college.

Fellows will be expected to maintain an active scholarly agenda and contribute to the University through service.

For the  academic year, applications will be accepted from individuals who have completed a doctoral (or terminal) degree in the past three years or who have completed all course requirements and are in the dissertation phase of their doctoral studies.

The salary for this appointment will range from $70,000 to $74,000 and reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Actual salary may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to salary, Pepperdine offers a robust suite of employee benefits.
