Commissioning Engineer – Security

A Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for installing, testing and commissioning security systems such as Intruder Alarms, Access Control Systems and CCTV for the Tyco brand. The role focuses on ensuring systems meet relevant industry standards, providing excellent customer service and proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.

• Commission security systems to relevant industry standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service with industry‑leading technical knowledge.
• Identify and rectify problems before they occur.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
• Safely and responsibly service devices, avoiding injuries and property damage.
• Prioritise jobs and manage time efficiently.
• Complete engineer work reports, handover certificates, BSIA certificates or checklists as appropriate.

• Experience with in the Fire & Security industry.
• Valid driving licence.
• Ability to lift and climb ladders.
• Previous experience in a customer‑facing environment.
