The Director, Business Development for AIMCOR Enterprise Insurance Group “EIG” reports directly to the EVP–President, Aligned Distribution. This individual is a key member of the EIG corporate team and is responsible for identifying new institutional business‑to‑business client relationships and growing AIMCOR’s presence within the institutional market. Responsibilities include expanding AIMCOR's presence in the institutional market through strategic partnerships, building relationships with key decision‑makers, and finding new market opportunities to grow the organization’s footprint and increase market share.
Key Responsibilities- Craft and implement a comprehensive business development strategy tailored for institutional and B2B markets.
- Align business development strategies with the company’s long‑term goals and financial objectives.
- Expand relationships with large, multi‑location accounts, ensuring the achievement of strategic business objectives.
- Network with industry leaders and decision‑makers to establish a high‑profile company presence.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns, ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration and brand representation.
- Work closely with senior leadership and the account management team to guide the creation of new product, service, and support offerings.
- Drive the identification and acquisition of new leads within the institutional and B2B space.
- Utilize CRM tools to track interactions with prospective clients and report on pipeline progress.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Engage in high‑level negotiations with potential clients and partners to close deals.
- Stay informed about industry and market trends to maintain a competitive advantage and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments, regional principals, and sales leaders to identify and cultivate national relationship opportunities and implement services to strengthen key account relationships.
- Compile and analyze business development metrics, providing reports to senior management.
- Use data to inform future business strategies and optimize Return on Investment (ROI).
- Recognize opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor sales metrics, such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts, to identify areas for improvement.
- Perform various other tasks, projects, and duties as assigned.

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, BI tools, and CRM systems.
- Ability to have a flexible schedule and work extended or irregular hours as necessary.
