The Glen Rose School District is seeking a highly motivated, student-centered instructional leader to serve as High School Principal for the school year. The successful candidate must possess a strong commitment to academic excellence, positive school culture, effective communication, and continuous improvement focused on student outcomes.
The Glen Rose School District believes that schools exist to improve student achievement, and we are seeking a leader who will work collaboratively with students, staff, parents, and the community to help ALL students succeed.

Qualifications
Valid Arkansas Administrator Licensure
Minimum of five (5) years successful experience in education
Administrative experience preferred
Strong background in instructional leadership, student discipline, and school operations
Knowledge of Arkansas Academic Standards, school improvement processes, and state accountability systems
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders
Primary Responsibilities:
The High School Principal shall:
Serve as the instructional leader of the high school
Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive learning environment
Lead efforts to improve student achievement and school performance
Use data to drive instructional decisions and school improvement efforts
Support and evaluate faculty and staff in accordance with district expectations and Arkansas law
Promote a culture of high expectations for all students and staff
Supervise extracurricular activities and ensure appropriate student supervision at school events
Collaborate with teachers and staff through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and continuous improvement processes
Ensure compliance with district policies, state laws, and federal regulations
Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and community members
Assist in the development and implementation of school improvement goals
Oversee student discipline and attendance procedures
Manage campus operations, budgeting, scheduling, and daily school functions
Foster a climate that reflects professionalism, servant leadership, collaboration, and respect
Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
