Elementary Teachers

Overview

Great Valley School District's 5/6 Center seeking innovative, dedicated and compassionate Elementary Teachers to join our team. The successful candidates will have a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and critical thinking. The roles involve teaching core subjects to students in grades 5 and 6, while integrating technology and differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with PA state standards and district curriculum
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, staff, and administration to enhance instructional practices and promote a positive learning environment
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into daily instruction
• Support students  social-emotional development and classroom behavior management
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation

• Pennsylvania Elementary certification (Grades 4-8 or K-6) required
• Bachelor s degree in education, or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with diverse learners and differentiated instruction
• Commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration

Salary Schedule (contract for 2026-27 currently in negotiation):
This reflects experience calculated per contract agreement not to exceed Step 10.

• Bachelor s: $62,845 to $73,195 (Step 10)
• Bachelor s + 15: $67,145 to $77,495 (Step 10)
• Master s: $78,045 to $88,395 (Step 10)
• Master s + 15: $80,520 to $91,120 (Step 10)
• Master s + 30: $82,995 to $93,845 (Step 10)
• Master s + 45: $85,470 to $96,570 (Step 10)
• Master s + 60: $87,945 to $99,295 (Step 10)
• Doctorate: $90,420 to $102,020 (Step 10)
