In this role, you will provide high-quality service across Institutional Participant Services by supporting external employers 401(k) plan participants with their dynamic and complex needs—one may need help with a form, the next has never even heard of a mutual fund. You will be assisting with account and plan information, regulatory or tax-related issues, financial and clerical transactions via inbound phone calls and written communication.
This role will allow you to build your financial acumen and communications skills into a successful career.
Base salary for this role is $54,000. In addition, the role offers the opportunity to earn additional hourly pay and a licensing bonus of up to $12,500 based on successful completion of required licensing.

- A $1,500 taxable annual Flex Fund stipend that allows you to select from a wide variety of well-being and lifestyle expenses
- An annual bonus (known internally as partnership) based on company performance
- 18 PTO days and 10 federal holidays, with the unique ability to purchase an additional week of PTO
- Industry‑leading retirement savings—up to 4% matched contributions, and 10% employer contribution without condition
- Best‑in‑class medical, dental, and vision coverage with on‑site health perks:
- Crew Care: our own onsite health‑clinic for you and your loved ones
- Ship Shape: onsite fitness center
- LYRA: a program to provide care for your emotional and mental health—how, when, and where you need it, at no cost to you.
- Education benefits including tuition reimbursement designed to support you in furthering your education
- Strong parental leave, including adoption and surrogacy benefits—because we know every family looks different!
We welcome, and encourage, individuals from all backgrounds and experiences—the most important things you need are a passion for serving others and a thirst for knowledge. Vanguard will provide you with fully paid training, coaching, and continuous support as you learn the role, company, and industry.
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship management (CRM) skills to engage with our clients and our "crew"
- Customer‑facing and/or inbound phone experience
- A learner's mentality and an appetite for financial acumen
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, preferred
- Ability to complete the SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) exam and obtain the Series 6 & 63 FINRA licenses within department guidelines.
