Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Correctly read and interpret shop orders for correct paint color and options
  • Utilize airless and/or conventional spray equipment for application of paints, lacquers, or enamels to metal surface where medium quality finish is required; ensure work assignments pass process checks and final inspection
  • Maintain and keep equipment and area in a safe, clean condition and working order
  • Utilize automated or manual monorail for moving product in and out of paint booth
  • Clean and maintain, on a daily basis, equipment used in the paint booth
  • Utilize hoist, cranes, and lift tables
  • Prepare surfaces for painting as required by cleaning or other methods as required
  • Comply with all company environmental policy
  • May do masking and two-toning and operate drying equipment
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • No minimum education required
  • No prior experience required
  • Must adhere to all safety rules and requirements, including proper use and fit of respirators and other personal protective equipment. This may include maintaining a clean-shaven face at all times due to OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
  • Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel
  • Ability to climb or balance
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to talk or hear

The pay range for this position is $15.77 - $22.66/hr base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
