Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Days shift with a $2,000 bonus. Compensation information: $29.25 - $32.50 per hour. Department (Org):
Nursing.
- Under RN supervision, assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in the Health Care Unit and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning and consulting with RNs and staff as needed.
- Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administer medications (including IV therapy if certified), and perform diagnostic tests according to established protocols.
- Collaborate in controlled substance counts at the beginning of each shift, follow safety techniques and standard precautions, and respond to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
- Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting to ensure effective communication with staff, physicians, and other personnel.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, adhering to policies and procedures to provide high-quality patient care.
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
Licenses/Certifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
- CPR certification must be obtainable and maintainable.
