Up to £27,000 per annum (DOE)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected manufacturer within the engineering sector. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Sales Administrator to join their dynamic Sales team.

The Role

As Sales Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of the sales operation — ensuring orders run smoothly, customers are supported, and opportunities are maximised.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide essential administrative support to the Sales team
  • Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare proposals and quotations, and follow up on sales leads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors
  • Assist with sales reporting, forecasting, and database management (MIE Trak ERP)
  • Support customer service initiatives, including surveys and complaint resolution
  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering to meet customer deadlines
  • Assist with exhibitions, customer meetings, and visits
  • Gather market and product insights to support commercial activity
  • Ensure compliance with ISO-9001 standards, company policies, and Health & Safety regulations
  • Positively represent the company brand at all times
About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM/sales systems
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and solutions‑focused
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
