Job Summary
This role supports sales growth objectives by providing sales strategy insights, competitive intelligence, and data‑driven analysis. The Specialist partners with sales professionals and managers to assess market opportunities, optimize sales execution, and inform territory and prospect strategies. By translating complex data into clear insights, this role enables informed decision‑making and improved sales performance.
Core Responsibilities- Partners with sales professionals and sales managers to support sales strategy and growth objectives through quantitative and qualitative analysis of client and prospect opportunities.
- Conducts competitive and market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across industry and product lines. Builds and applies working knowledge of capital markets, asset management, and the financial services industry.
- Analyzes, interprets, and organizes sales and market data; prepares summaries, reports, and presentations to support sales leaders’ decision making.
- Provides analytical support related to markets, territories, client utilization, and prospect prioritization to inform sales execution and planning activities.
- Supports RFP and RFI engagements by contributing accurate and understandable sales data and analysis.
- Identifies opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and execution by highlighting insights, patterns, and areas of opportunity.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Five years of related work experience. Two years of sales analysis experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
- CFA, CIMA, or Graduate degree preferred.
- This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g., FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role‑specific duties.
