12 months, 2080 hours (7:00 - 3:30, Monday through Friday)
Salary: $69,000 - $82,000
Responsibilities- Perform daily work orders via the CMMS work order system by priority and urgency
- Respond to daily emergencies and after-hours emergencies as they arise and work on resolving them in a timely and efficient manner. Overtime may be necessary.
- Assist the Supervisor of Facilities in developing and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule for all building HVAC systems internally and externally
- Make repairs on all HVAC systems within and outside of district buildings
- Complete follow-up inspections of various work orders and maintenance jobs, and submit any and all deficiencies to the Supervisor of Facilities
- Order materials as needed to make repairs, replacements, and installation of HVAC systems
- Assist with snow removal rtime may be necessary.
- Work with the maintenance team and head custodians to coordinate any work that ensures the building's HVAC operation
- Ability to work independently and as a team member to get multiple tasks and assignments completed for the school district
- Make suggestions for HVAC systems improvements to the Supervisor of Facilities
- Maintain good work attendance and punctuality
- Maintain records, invoices, receipts, and slips of all materials or contracted services for the facilities office
- Responsible for PCard consumable materials receipts and the completion of monthly statements
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
- Working knowledge of building automation systems and how to utilize them as a tool for energy conservation
- Report all safety issues to the Supervisor of Facilities and perform necessary tasks to ensure safety of building occupants
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor of Facilities
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Licensed in a trade or appropriate training or education from a technical school

- Must be able to hear (40 decibel loss maximum), verbally communicate, and see with near acuity of 20 inches or less with normal depth perception, color vision, and field of vision. Climb to a height of 10 feet or more, balancing on ladders, scaffolding, and catwalks. Exposure to various physical hazards and atmospheric conditions that may affect respiratory system and/or skin.
Able to stoop repetitively and twist the body from a stationary position and reach. Able to push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds and use fingers to pick, feel, reach, and grasp objects. Able to lift to 75 pounds with a height up to 30 inches on a repetitive basis.
