Join ONSIDE as a Community Mental Health Link Worker and play a vital role in supporting individuals and households at risk of homelessness.
As a Community Mental Health Link Worker, you will work in partnership with local district councils, housing teams, and community services, acting as a crucial bridge between mental health support and housing stability.
In this rewarding role you will provide early, non‑clinical intervention supporting individuals’ mental health and wellbeing, help individuals at risk of tenancy breakdown or homelessness, and support people in navigating housing systems and services.
You will build trusted relationships, empower people to regain control of their lives, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including housing officers and other support services, ensuring individuals access the right support at the right time.

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual who has experience supporting vulnerable people with mental health challenges, can build trusting, professional relationships and is passionate about preventing homelessness and social inequality. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills to thrive in a collaborative, multi‑agency environment.
It is desirable but not essential to have knowledge of housing legislation or homelessness duties, an understanding of welfare benefits, debt advice or substance misuse, or experience working in community, housing or homelessness support settings.
