Leads a team responsible for the strategic vision and roadmap for a technical product or products, demonstrating a understanding of the product(s) and associated business areas. Products often have cross‑divisional implications.
Responsibilities- Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew; provides guidance and training to develop them; sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable HR policies.
- Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to demonstrate best practices that drive significant change to the client experience and ensure business outcomes are linked to business case drivers.
- Develops strong partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, supporting and driving escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
- Leads the planning, development and implementation of new technical products with cross‑divisional impact; defines and analyzes markets, develops detailed product features and requirements, and establishes implementation plans.
- Influences and employs qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
- Participates in and influences the team’s engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
- Lead Developer Enablement & Pipeline Engineering teams focused on improving developer productivity, reliability, and speed across the organization.
- Champion the developer experience—bringing empathy, creativity, and a “developer‑first” mindset to everything from tooling to workflows.
- Modernize and scale CI/CD pipelines, helping teams transition from legacy patterns to modern, secure, and automated delivery models.
- Partner deeply with stakeholders across Platform and Application teams to co‑create solutions that balance autonomy, safety, and speed.
- Bring structure to ambiguity—define clear ownership, operating models, and roadmaps in evolving problem spaces.
- Develop senior engineers, fostering accountability, energy, and continuous improvement.
- Drive measurable outcomes such as reduced toil, higher deployment success, faster lead time, and improved developer sentiment.
- A strong developer mindset.
- Passion for elevating developer ecosystems, not just operating tools.
- Experience leading teams in developer enablement, platform engineering, or pipeline engineering.
- Strong collaboration and influence skills.
- Experience with modern engineering platforms and tooling, ideally including Git Hub, CI/CD pipelines, automation, Dexter or similar internal developer platforms, and cloud‑native delivery patterns and observability.
- You’ll shape how developers work every day.
- You’ll influence strategy while staying close to real engineering problems.
- You’ll help build a modern and scalable developer ecosystem.
- Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of leading large cross‑functional project teams preferred; supervisory experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required; graduate degree preferred.
