We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) to provide exceptional emergency care in Mammoth Lakes, CA. • Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
• Location: Mammoth Lakes
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift
• Schedule: 3×12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $2900 to $3100

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and emergency nursing care for patients with a wide range of illnesses and injuries
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs and clinical status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed
• Recognize and respond quickly to life-threatening emergencies, trauma cases, cardiac events, strokes, and other critical conditions
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures, trauma resuscitations, wound care, and bedside interventions
• Operate and monitor emergency medical equipment, including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and ventilators
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, radiology staff, laboratory personnel, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, follow-up care, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Follow infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and emergency department best practices
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining efficiency in a high-volume emergency setting

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Current ACLS Certification required
• Current PALS Certification preferred
• TNCC Certification preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred
• Experience caring for trauma, medical, surgical, pediatric, and critical care emergency patients
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and emergency response skills
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
• Ability to prioritize multiple patients in a fast-paced emergency department
• Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality emergency care
