Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to keep equipment/systems in optimal condition.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems on heavy machinery.
- Conduct quality checks after repairs to confirm proper functioning.
- Equipment Inspections
- Perform regular inspections to identify wear, damage, or other issues.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment conditions and report significant findings.
- Recommend necessary repairs or part replacements based on inspection outcomes.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Complete pre‑start inspections and necessary SHEQ documentation before activities.
- Keep thorough records of maintenance work, repairs, and part replacements.
- Document diagnostic findings and submit accurate reports to supervisors.
- Update maintenance logs and track equipment usage for accurate scheduling.
- Complete time sheets and leave entries in the absence database before payroll processing.
- Inventory and Parts Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to order parts and minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of tools and parts.
- Technical Support and Training
- Provide technical support and guidance to equipment operators.
- Participate in training sessions on new repair techniques and technologies.
- Share best practices with the team.
- Education and Experience
- Diploma / SMK in Electrical (Low Voltage), Electronics or Mechanical or equivalent field‑service experience.
- Strong understanding of RCT products and applications.
- Proven track record in installation, servicing and field repair.
- Automation & Control Systems
- Understand PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors, actuators and control logic used on heavy equipment.
- Electrical & Instrumentation Systems
- Know low‑voltage electrical systems, motor control circuits, drives and instrumentation.
- Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
- Use diagnostic tools to find and fix faults; read schematics, drawings, I/O lists and manuals.
- Safety Standards
- Apply electrical and automation safety rules and work safely on automated systems in mining environments.
- Preventive Maintenance
- Inspect, test and maintain systems to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Repair components and perform configuration or parameter changes on control systems.
- Advanced Diagnostic Skills
- Identify root causes of faults using instruments, software diagnostics and logical methods.
- System Operation Knowledge
- Understand operation of automated equipment to test, validate and return systems to service safely.
- Attention to Detail
- Ensure precision to avoid safety or system failures.
- Time Management
- Prioritize tasks to minimize downtime and production impact.
- Computer Skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
- Communication Skills
- Communicate effectively in Bahasa and English, explaining technical issues clearly.
- Driving Capability
- Drive a light vehicle and hold a valid license.
