Description:
The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seekinga Replacement Substitute Computer Teacher for the Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School with the following qualifications:
Qualifications:
* NJ Certification(s)/License Required
* 1000 - Elementary School K-8; or
* 1001 - Elementary School K-6with a 1103 - Middle School Endorsement in Science ; or
* 1001 - Elementary Schook K-6) with a 1107 - Middle School Endorsement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); or
* 1810
- Technology Education; or
* 1820 - Computer Science
* Ability to immerse students in exploration, innovation, creativity, and collaboration so they become experienced at trying new methods to solve real world problems
* Background in Design Thinking
* Knowledge of computer aided design and printing
* Ability to support students in engaging in the engineering process
* Understanding of designing algorithms and using computational thinking practices.
* Driven to continually participate in professional development to keep technology opportunities current and relevant
Terms of Employment:
* Leave Replacement Position

* Daily Rate of Pay:
* $228.26 (1-60 days)
* $313.00 (61+ days)
