- Requirements Gathering & Analysis — Engage with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to gather detailed requirements. Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Documentation — Prepare BRDs (Business Requirements Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirements Documents), SRS (System Requirement Specifications), and use cases. Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. Maintain clear, structured, and version-controlled documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Business Process Mapping — Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities. Develop AS-IS and TO-BE process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or BPMN standards. Recommend optimized processes aligned with business goals.
- Stakeholder Management — Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and external vendors. Communicate requirements clearly and ensure alignment across all teams. Facilitate regular reviews, walkthroughs, and sign-offs.
- Solution Support — Work with development and QA teams to clarify requirements during design and testing. Support UAT planning, test case creation, and defect resolution. Ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and acceptance criteria.
- Reporting & Analysis — Prepare business analysis reports, dashboards, and project status updates. Support data analysis to back business decisions and requirement prioritization.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 6–7 years of experience in business analysis across mid to large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of requirement gathering techniques and documentation standards.
- Experience with BRD/FRD/SRS creation, business process modeling, and user stories.
- Proficiency in tools: MS Visio, Jira, Confluence, MS Office Suite
