• Ensure all routine, periodic, preventative, reactive and ad-hoc works are carried out within set timelines, resources and in line with specifications, methodology, SOP guidelines and work plans.
• Correct/resolve inconsistencies in contractor performance as found during supervision and monitoring of contractor tasks and activities. If the nature of inconsistency cannot be resolved, escalate to section head immediately.
• Attend incident/accident site immediately within the relevant responsibility area, take charge of the situation, conduct investigations, implement immediate corrective and preventative measures, coordinate with stakeholders as required, and consult with the section head or soft services manager if needed. All incidents and accidents shall be reported immediately to the Section Head and Manager.
• Support and enable soft services contractors to carry out their scheduled activities by coordinating with various stakeholders (ECC, APOC, AOD, AVSEC, tenants) and secure permissions for contractors to start their works.
• Complete all relevant sections and submit daily shift reports as defined by the department’s shift report process and procedures.
• Enforce preventative safe working practices by contractors and instruct corrective measures when safety issues arise.
• Ensure economical use of materials and resources provided by BAC to the contractors while achieving all desired outcomes.
• Identify and report nonconformities of standards, violations of workplace policy, procedures and regulations in a timely and accurate manner to management.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and hygiene by applying best practice approaches and performance outcome standards.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to all tickets for service requests, incidents, or additional works issued through the Engineering Control Center; carry out works with appropriate priority and close tickets promptly.
• Check and verify the quantity of work carried out and delivered by soft services contractors (goods and services).
• Ensure proper care and operation of soft services equipment, including allocation, operational control and productivity; prevent misuse by applying control measures.
• Coordinate with HEO, ECC and APOC, Airside operations, IBM O&M, FM-ALM and Aerodrome Safety departments to ensure seamless soft services activities.
• Receive, consolidate and channel all reports, receipts, and delivery notes as defined by soft services management and document control protocol of the section/department.
• Monitor stock of materials, analyze past consumption trends to predict future stock requirements and raise material requisitions for replenishment.

• 8 years of combined experience as soft services supervisor/shift leader for a large single site operation.
• Minimum of 5 years in all-round soft services supervision in airport, high-capacity international events level stadiums; exhibitions; shopping malls.
