National Project Coordinator; Tier 1 & Tier 2
Overview
Tiered application approach for UNDP UNCDF/UNV vacancies aims to safeguard capacity and support personnel already in the Organization. The vacancy notes tier indicators and requires eligibility alignment with the indicated tier.
Background
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Country Office in the Kingdom of Bahrain operates within a high-income, net-contributing context. Bahrain Vision 2030 and the Government Programme (2023–2026) guide priorities, with a focus on economic diversification, governance, environmental resilience, digital transformation, and inclusive human development. The CPD 2025–2029 and UNSDCF 2025–2029 frame UNDP Bahrain’s programme and three interrelated pillars:
- Economic prosperity and sustainable livelihoods
- Effective governance, human rights, and access to justice
