Financial Controlling and Credit & Collection. From Financial Controlling, you will work very closely with Finance Hub and Shared Service Center (SSC) team in Manchester. Using the data provided by these teams, you will prepare Value Creation Cockpits and Performance Management decks that summarize financial and operational target achievement of the Market organization.
As the Finance Analyst with Hilti, you will be responsible for preparing Value Creation Cockpits and Performance Management decks for both Sales and Collection that ultimately identify performance gaps and suggest improvement actions. You will also develop detailed monthly OPEX tracking reports to identify improvement opportunities and deviations from the plan while suggesting mitigation actions. Furthermore, you will work closely with Regional and Global teams on the implementation of projects and initiatives (e.g., Financial planning, year‑end closing) while liaising with Hilti’s Share Service Center (SSC) to ensure postings are done as per set guidelines of our internal Finance Manual and are submitted in the correct functional area.
In addition, you will review Sales team targets, validating achievement rates and the final bonus ratings that were provided by the Regional Finance team. In this role you will also liaise with external auditors during the year‑end audit and support the execution of level‑1 Internal Controls relevant to Fixed Assets, P2P & HR and take ownership of reviewing accruals of liabilities, providing guidance to the Finance Director when changes are required.
From the Credit & Collection side, you will analyze various reporting tools (aging, collection report) to identify priority customers and create targeted action plans for those specific customers. You will update system records of all conversations with the customers, including details such as names, amounts, dates, and additional agreements, ensuring each account is kept accurate and reconciled with the customer, while allocating customer payments based on remittances or advice from the customer.
You will coordinate collection activities with the Sales Department and action Hilti Account Manager queries efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Engineering
- Professional Qualification required (CPA, ACCA, CMA)
- Excellent analytical skills and high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills, ability to synthesize and present analysis results
- A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
- Can‑do attitude, driven and passionate about work
- Desire to pursue a career in Finance
