Role

Purpose

The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, reporting, treasury, budgeting, governance, and performance management across ECG and its operating subsidiaries. The role will support executive management by providing timely financial insights, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulations, and driving financial discipline across the group.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Control
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
  • Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes.
  • Coordinate external audits and address audit findings.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
  • Oversee accounting operations and general ledger integrity.
Budgeting & FP&A
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models.
  • Monitor budget vs. actual performance.
  • Prepare management reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Conduct profitability and variance analysis.
Treasury & Cash Management
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
  • Optimize working capital.
  • Manage banking relationships.
  • Monitor debt facilities and covenant compliance.
  • Oversee payment approvals and treasury controls.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
  • Support executive management reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate financial disclosures and regulatory filings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and governance standards.
  • Assist in risk management and internal control reviews.
Performance Management
  • Develop and track group‑wide financial KPIs.
  • Establish reporting frameworks.
  • Drive accountability for financial performance.
Team Management
  • Lead and develop finance staff.
  • Establish finance processes and SOPs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional qualification preferred:
    • CPA
    • ACCA
    • CMA
    • CA
Experience
  • 5-10 years of finance experience.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience with holding companies, investment firms, industrial groups, or listed companies.
  • Strong exposure to budgeting, treasury, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with auditors, banks, and Boards.
Technical Skills
  • IFRS expertise.
  • Financial modelling and valuation.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI.
Preferred Experience
  • Saudi listed company experience.
  • CMA/Tadawul reporting exposure.
  • Corporate governance and Audit Committee interaction.
