Junior Accountant About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day finance operations. You'll play a key role in invoicing, revenue reconciliation, collections follow-up, and reporting, helping ensure our financial processes run smoothly and accurately.

• Prepare invoices, receipts, and vouchers in Zoho accurately and on time.
• Follow up with clients to ensure timely payments and support monthly collection targets.
• Perform daily revenue reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting finance-related analysis.
• Help improve receivables processes and contribute to finance system enhancements.
• Respond to Pitch Owners through the Malaeb Finance Whats App channel in a professional and timely manner.
• Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks and finance-related projects.
• Reconcile revenue reports with the Business Development team to ensure accurate and complete invoicing.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support business requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of accounting experience, including internships or university placements.

• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Ability to prepare invoices, receipts, and vouchers accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formulas, and spreadsheet management.
• Familiarity with accounting software (Zoho experience is a plus).

• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
