Group Head of Capital Markets Structured Solutions Job Manama area,Bahrain,Finance & Banking

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven senior Capital Markets professional to lead our Structured Solutions function. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing sophisticated hedging, investment, and capital markets solutions for corporate, financial institution, and wealth management clients across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of structured products, derivatives, and Sharia-compliant solutions while ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and consistent client service standards across the organization.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong expertise in capital markets, derivatives structuring, client advisory, product development, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities Capital Markets Structuring

Lead the origination and execution of structured product transactions, hedging strategies, and investment solutions for corporate, institutional, and wealth management clients.

Develop and expand structured investment and risk management offerings, including Sharia-compliant solutions.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth in treasury and capital markets revenues.

Advise clients on the risks, returns, and suitability of hedging and investment products, ensuring clear and transparent communication.

Support the marketing and promotion of capital markets products and solutions across client segments.

Drive cross-selling initiatives across treasury products, including foreign exchange, deposits, fixed income, structured investments, and other capital market solutions.

Derivatives & Structured Product Solutions

Generate innovative trade ideas and structured solutions aligned with market opportunities and client objectives.

Provide pricing insights and structuring expertise for complex derivative and structured product transactions.

Deliver pre- and post-trade support, including stress testing, term sheet review, valuation analysis, and risk assessments.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure competitive product pricing and market positioning.

Prepare client presentations, pitch books, market commentary, and product marketing materials.

Partner closely with Credit, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, and other business units to ensure robust governance and regulatory compliance.

Contribute to product innovation by identifying market trends, emerging client needs, and new business opportunities.

Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance execution quality and turnaround times.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing structuring team.

Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across markets and business units.

Establish consistent performance standards and technical excellence within the team.

Support succession planning, talent development, and capability-building initiatives.

Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and client-centricity.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Master's degree and/or professional qualifications (CFA, FRM, CAIA, or equivalent) preferred.

Experience

Extensive experience within Capital Markets, Treasury, Structured Products, Derivatives Structuring, or Investment Solutions.
Proven track record of originating and executing complex structured transactions.
Strong understanding of fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives, structured investments, and hedging solutions.
Experience working with corporate clients, financial institutions, and/or wealth management segments.
Exposure to Islamic finance and Sharia-compliant capital markets products is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of capital markets products, risk management, and treasury solutions.
Expertise in derivatives pricing, structuring methodologies, and market analytics.
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and governance frameworks applicable to capital markets activities.
Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
